    The second "Xinyi·New Home·Youth of Ethnic Minorities in Yau Tsim Mong Bay Area Soaring Research Tour" came to a successful conclusion

    Guided by the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the "2024 Xinyi · New Home · Yau Tsim Mong Minority Youth Bay Area Soaring Study Tour" was successfully held in Longgang, Shenzhen from July 8 to 11, 2024. This event, organized by Xinyi Glass Holdings Limited and the Hong Kong New Home Association, aimed to facilitate the integration of ethnic minority youth in Hong Kong into the overall national development strategy. It was held under the support and guidance of the Yau Tsim Mong District Office and the United Front Work Department of the Longgang District Committee, and culminated on July 11.



    Xinyi Glass has been actively facilitating exchanges between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, providing practical support for national development, and fully endorsing the construction of the Greater Bay Area. As youth represent the future and hope of our country, Xinyi Glass remains steadfast in its commitment to nurturing the growth of Hong Kong's youth and making every effort to facilitate their integration into the Greater Bay Area. This event successfully attracted the active participation of 11 young ethnic minorities from Hong Kong. Over the course of the four-day study tour, they had a hands-on experience of China's development pulse, deeply immersed in the vibrant atmosphere of high-quality development in the Greater Bay Area, and fully savored the unique charm of the mainland.



    At the beginning, the youths first visited  Xinyi Glass Company, gaining a deep understanding of the company's development history and culture. They also participated in workplace experience activities in various departments, experiencing the company's operational mode from production, research and development to sales and human resources in all aspects.



    This experience is not merely an accumulation of knowledge, but a profound touch to the soul. During these four days, the youths were treated to a fascinating showcase of advancements in various fields. They witnessed the cutting-edge agricultural technology at the Shenzhen Aerospace Agriculture Science and Technology Park, the seamless integration of culture and industry at the Jewelry Culture Innovation Industrial Park, the forefront technological achievements exhibited at the Red Cube Science and Technology Museum, the innovative applications of digital technology along the Longgang Digital Creative Industry Corridor, the remarkable innovations in the drone industry by Gaoju Innovations, and the eco-friendly vision of the Longgang Energy Ecological Park. These experiences broadened their horizons and deeply impressed them with the vibrant strength of technological advancement and innovation in our motherland.


    At the closing ceremony, where participants shared their insights and experiences, the youths unanimously expressed that the event had been highly rewarding. They had broadened their professional horizons, enhanced their employability, and, importantly, deepened their sense of identification and belonging to traditional Chinese culture. Furthermore, they had gained a fresh and profound understanding of the development of their motherland.



    The successful holding of the "Xinyi ·New Home· Yau Tsim Mong Minority Youth Bay Area Soaring Study Tour" has served as a bridge of friendship and exchange for Hong Kong's minority youth, enabling them to broaden their horizons, enrich their knowledge, and strengthen patriotism, thus laying a solid foundation for their integration into the overall national development. It is believed that in the future, these youths will exhibit a more dazzling radiance in the tide of national development, with abundant gains and profound insights.
